One link, every time zone

Pick a place, a date and a time. The link shows that moment to each person in their own time zone, counts down to it and adds it to their calendar.

Getting the form ready…

How it works

How a time link works

The link names a wall-clock time in a place, as you would say it: 15:00 in London on Friday 16 October. When someone opens it, Hourora works out that instant from the official time-zone rules (IANA tzdata) and shows it on their own clock, with a live countdown.

Because the rules include daylight saving time, the link stays right even when a clock change falls between today and the date you chose, in either place.

Clock changes and privacy

On the night clocks go forward, some times never happen; on the night they go back, an hour happens twice. A link to such a time explains what it shows: the moment clocks moved past a skipped time, or the first of two repeated ones.

Nothing is stored: the whole moment is in the link itself, so there is no account, no database and no tracking of who opens it.

Questions

Good to know

Will the link show the right time for someone in another country?

Yes. The page converts the moment to the time zone of the device that opens it, including daylight saving time on that date.

Can I add the time to my calendar?

Yes. Each link has an “Add to calendar” button that downloads a standard .ics file (Apple Calendar, Outlook and others) and a Google Calendar button.

What does the link look like?

It reads like the moment itself: /en/t/london/2026-10-16/1500 is 15:00 on 16 October 2026 in London. The time uses the 24-hour clock.

What if I choose a time that does not exist because the clocks change?

The page explains it. A skipped time (clocks going forward) shows the moment the clocks moved past it; a repeated time (clocks going back) shows the first of the two, and says when the second one is.
