Holi, the festival of colours, begins with Holika Dahan, a bonfire lit on the evening of the full moon of Phalguna, and the colours are thrown the next day. This page counts down to that day, Holi (Rangwali Holi, Dhulandi). The dates for 2025 and 2026 are those of the Government of India’s list of holidays; later years are computed from the full moon and sunset in New Delhi.
