How the time calculator works
Pick a start time, choose add or subtract, and enter the days, hours, minutes and seconds. The calculator turns everything into seconds, adds or subtracts, and writes the result back as a clock time. If you also give a start date, the result is a full date and weekday, and it knows how many days each month has and which years are leap years.
The second mode adds up a list of durations, such as the shifts of a week or the lengths of the tracks on an album. Each line may be written as hours and minutes (1:30), with units (2h 15m) or as decimal hours (1.5h). The total is shown as hours, minutes and seconds, and as decimal hours for timesheets.
